DACOR · National Design Contest

ELIGIBILITY: Open to individuals (natural persons) who are legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia or Canada (excluding residents of all other USA territories, commonwealths and possessions, and residents of Quebec) who are at least 18 years of age (and age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence). To enter the Professional Design Contest, you must be a kitchen design industry professional (i.e., designer, builder, architect).

8 Regional Prizes - One per Category (Contemporary, Traditional) per Region (US Regions 1, 2, 3 and Canada) - USD $10,000 each.

National Finalist Prizes - Ten per Category (10/Contemporary, 10/Traditional) - each Finalist will receive a 3-day/2-night trip for the winner and one guest to Southern California, USA to attend a Dacor celebration event in/about October 2020. Prize includes round-trip coach air transportation from major airport nearest the winner's home, 2 nights' hotel accommodations, one room/double occupancy, and a $500 spending stipend for the Finalist. Total approximate retail value of each Finalist prize is USD $2,500.

Grand Prize-Contemporary - Each Grand Prize and the Designer's Choice Award will consist of a 3-night trip for the winner and one guest to Seoul, Korea. Prize includes round-trip coach air transportation from major airport nearest the winner's home, 3 nights' hotel accommodations, one room/double occupancy, and a tour of the Samsung Design House with the Dacor Design Team. Each Grand Prize winner and the Designer's Choice will also receive USD $30,000. Total approximate retail value USD $45,000 each.

Runner-Up Prize-Traditional:$10,000

Student Design Contest Prizes: First Prize - a $10,000 scholarship, awarded to the winner in the form of a check.

Runner-Up Prize - a $5,000 scholarship, awarded to the winner in the form of a check.
